In anticipation of his upcoming album, Funk Wav Bounces, Vol. 1, Calvin Harris has released “Rollin,” a single featuring Future and Khalid. The track follows his previous single “Heatstroke”, which featured Pharrell, Ariana Grande and Young Thug. His LP is set to feature Frank Ocean, Travis Scott, Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande, Pharrell Williams, Snoop Dogg, John Legend , Schoolboy Q, Kehlani, PARTYNEXTDOOR and more.

Having previously boasted the album would include the “greatest artists of our generation”, Calvin has followed through by delivering on a star studded roster of artists. However not everyone is pleased at the news. Artist Deadmau5 took to Twitter to write: “Anyone ever remember when Calvin Harris was just… Calvin Harris? who the fuck are all these other people? like… why?”. He added: “fucking hate watching what i love to do get raped by popular culture for the sake of selling stupid shit for stupid people… nothing new here. just your typical sellout rant about people who obviously know how to pander shit for the sake of capitalism. moving on.”

The move does represent a transition for Harris. Some people will like it. Others, such as Deadmau5, might not. We wait to see how his album will be received with bated breath.
