Seasoned Detroit rapper Danny Brown's latest single will get you burning hot and cold straight away. ‘Pneumonia’ boasts an infectious chorus and some crazy verses over a stripped back, psychedelic club style beat.
After a year of almost unprecedented quiet, Brown recently returned to the public eye with a series of insanely executed features. Most notable of these perhaps was on The Avalanches's unhinged ‘Frankie Sinatra’, with the legendary MF DOOM rapping alongside him:
The eclectic instrumental is produced by Evian Christ, a normally electronic producer and DJ hailing all the way from the small scouse town of Ellesmere Port. In an interview with Sway in the Morning, recently after dropping the track, Brown mentioned that he came up with a good deal of the track bouncing ideas off of TDE’s ScHoolboy Q
‘Pneumonia’ is the second single from Danny Brown’s forthcoming album. The first, ‘When It Rain’, came out on June 14th with its own derelict video. Watch it below:
