Drake and Future continue their bromance at the top of the mainstream hip hop game with a bouncy track ‘Used To This’.
It would appear that Drake is embracing his global status at the moment having penned songs with influences from the Dominican Republic (No Shopping), the UK (Wanna Know) and now Mexico (Used To This). The video was directed expertly by Eif Riviera, and sees the two stars celebrating their success on a football pitch with a team of women in Mexican kits surrounding them.
The focus of the track is a celebration of the fact that the two are at the very top of their game, and is as braggadocios as you would expect from a ‘typical’ hip hop hit. The song ends with the two rappers showing off the 16 jersey, capturing the theme that they won Summer 2016.
The song is featured on Future’s widely anticipated upcoming mixtape, Beast Mode 16.
