It’s finally October, and that can only mean a few things. Most importantly, it’s Guwop season.

Gucci Mane released his commercial album ‘Everybody Looking’ that saw much success following his 2-year prison sentence for illegally possessing a firearm. Now, Gucci drops his tenth studio-album, 'Woptober’ overnight as a free project, tweeting “I just wanted to show the fans I appreciate them so that’s why I dropped #WOPTOBER for free”.

The lead singles for this project, ‘Bling Blaww Burr’ and ‘Money Machine were accompanied by music videos and feature Young Dolph and Rick Ross respectively. These two names end up being the only credited features on ‘Woptober’, but set a very appropriate tone for what Gucci brings on the album. Production-wise, we see the likes of common Gucci collaborators such as Zaytoven and Metro Boomin, as well names like TM88 and Southside.

Looking renewed and healthier than ever in a recent interview with Funkmaster Flex, Gucci explained that he’s always trying to innovate and stay current, saying “Whatever they’re gonna do, I’m gonna do it better” when asked about the industry and his competitors.. With one standout album already this year, Gucci continues to stay one step ahead of the game with this release.

Get chilly with ‘Woptober’ and see for yourself if Gucci stays ahead of the curve:
