Fort Punta Christo is a one of a kind, radiant beach-side area in Croatia, a favourite among summer time music festival goers. It is also the home to Outlook Festival, an annual celebration which aims to bring together the world’s greatest names in House, Bass and Hip Hop to complement the beautiful outdoor setting. On January 30th 2018, Outlook announced its phase 1 lineup for September’s festival, and it did not disappoint.
The festival will have 8 stages, and will be set to life from headliners and artists including Wiley, Stefflon Don, Bonobo, David Rodigan, AJ Tracey, MIST and J Hus. The event will be from Sept 5th until Sept 10th, and there are a whole host of other incredible acts that are set to perform at the festival. In total, festival goers are set to expect over 380 hours of music across the stages.
They will be joined by a strong case of grime and rap talent including the likes of Killa P, YGG, Lady Leshurr, Jaykae and Ocean Wisdom. Some special gems to look out for include the Ezra Collective and Layfullstop, both of whom manage to artfully infuse jazz and hip hop influences into their music. Shy One’s BBZ, Stone’s Throw’s Peanut Butter Wolf, and highly credited curator Eva Lazarus will be providing tracks consistently across the festival.
The festival will begin with the annual opening in Pula’s Ampihtheatre, and will kick off with Bonobo, Wiley and Children of Zeus. Set in an abandoned fortress on the Adriatic coast, Outlook Festival is hosted in one of the most incredible locations in Croatia. Tickets are available from £100. You can get them here or find out more information by visiting Outlook's website.
