It’s been an absolutely stellar breakout year for Zara Larsson. Even though the artist first entered the spotlight in her native Sweden back in 2008, winning the talent show ‘Talang’ (Sweden’s Version of America’s Got Talent) at the tender age of 10, 2016 will do down as the year the young artist became a household name in pop music.

She signed to Swedish record label TEN Music Group four years ago, and released her first album ‘Introducing’, in early 2013. The project was an immediate success, with the lead single ‘Uncover’ reaching the top of the charts in Sweden, Denmark and Norway. A month later the song was certified platinum by Universal Music Sweden and the album had gone triple platinum by the summer. This led to the singer signing a three year contract with Epic Records in the US in 2013. Since then she has focused on crafting her image and re-entered the world stage this year, performing at the opening and closing ceremonies in France for Euro 2016.

But what really got the world talking was her instant classic ‘Never Forget You’ featuring British musician MNEK. The high energy, pop RnB infused track resonated with a global audience, and was quickly followed up by the catchy ‘Lush Life’ not long afterwards.

Now Zara is back with another uptempo tune in what we have to assume is the lead up to a second album. This track is called ‘Ain’t My Fault’. MNEK is once again involved in the project, gaining credits as a co-writer on the single. You can feel his subtle RnB undertones all over the tune. It’s catchy, saxophone filled chorus is sure to have you moving. In September 2016, she released the official video for the track, to critical and commercial acclaim.
